Grimes County has made significant improvements on King Oaks roads in recent months, from making road repairs within the community to resurfacing CR175.
A small section of road from the King Oaks Nature Preserve to the King Oaks Fishing Pond Pavilion remains outstanding, and is slated for repairs later this year.
The students at Iola Elementary School would like to present this poster to the residents of King Oaks to say thank you for the generous donation of school supplies collected last September. The supplies are much appreciated! King Oaks resident and Iola ISD Superintendent Chad Jones extends his gratitude to all his neighbors for your generosity! The poster is on display in Chris’ sales office at 9000 King Oaks Drive.

POA Meeting Postponed
Please be advised that the 2017 King Oaks Annual Property Owners Association meeting originally scheduled for Saturday, March 4th, 2017 has been postponed. The meeting will include a review of the 2017 budget and time for questions you may have about the direction of the community.
This meeting will be rescheduled for April, 2017. We will contact you via email and Nextdoor once a new date has been finalized.

Frank Lloyd Wright: Architecture of the Interior
Beginning January 19 at the Texas A&M J. Wayne Stark Galleries, see Frank Lloyd Wright: Architecture of the Interior, an exhibition exploring the design of Frank Lloyd Wright’s houses, often considered his greatest architectural accomplishment. Through 19 reproduction drawings, 8 photographs, and 4 photographic murals, the exhibition illustrates the myriad—both obvious and subtle— ways Wright created the visual character of interior space and objects within it, each an essential detail of the larger whole. Organized by International Arts & Artists, Washington, DC, in cooperation with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, Scottsdale, AZ, Frank Lloyd Wright is on view until March 12.
Living History Weekend
The annual Living History Weekend is the largest event of its kind in Texas, with visitors from across the nation coming to view award-winning Living History Displays, shop in the Military Swap Meet, and witness the roar of tanks in the WWII Battle reenactment. The event runs from March 24 to 25 at the Museum of the American G.I. in College Station. This family-friendly event is sure to have something for everyone.
