One of a Kind Featured Homesites – Private Ponds and Adjoining the Nature Preserve

This Spring there are a few truly one-of a kind lots available at King Oaks. From private ponds to one adjoining the 60-acre protected nature preserve, you will not find anything like these anywhere in the area.

Homesites 5B/6B comprise a 2.02-acre property on a cul-de-sac featuring a scenic pond, ample trees, and a level building site. Choose to build your custom home in a clearing for a relaxing water view or surround yourself with tall trees for extra privacy.

Homesite 19A is a beautiful 2.23-acres site featuring a deep lot with a sparkling pond in the center. Framed by hardwoods and offering a level building site with little preparation required, this property offers the ideal foundation for your custom dream home.

Homesite 28A is located at the end of a private cul-de-sac, featuring a wooded landscape and a scenic, hilltop view overlooking a pond and the community’s 60-acre nature preserve. This is the best nature preserve lot remaining in all of King Oaks.

If you’ve been out to the site you’ve seen the great activity on new homes and new homesites – pre-development pricing on these properties will not last long.

Letter from Superintendent and King Oaks Resident, Chad Jones

Dear King Oaks Residents:

Hello from Iola ISD. My name is Chad Jones and I am in my third year as Superintendent of Iola ISD and also my third year as a King Oaks resident.

It’s always a great day to be an Iola Bulldog!! Iola ISD has been very successful academically and in extra-curricular activities over the years.  Iola students have been very successful in passing state exams, but, we in Iola ISD strongly believe that whether or not a child achieves success is far greater than just passing a test. We continuously strive to create multiple avenues for children to be successful and we enjoy celebrating each and every success. Iola ISD’s outstanding staff members strive to build relationships with children and their families to produce a well-rounded experience for students. We encourage our students to be involved in as many activities as possible, in order to create a positive, whole school experience. We want to develop students who are academically and socially ready to face college or careers upon graduation. Whether your children are in early elementary and desire small class sizes, caring teachers and outstanding instruction, or they are in high school looking to be challenged academically, while at the same time creating lifelong memories as successful members of the Iola Bulldog Band, Career Technology/Ag, Athletics, Student Council, National Honor Society, UIL Academics, or any other programs or activities that we offer, Iola ISD is a great choice for your family.  If you have any questions about Iola ISD, please don’t hesitate to contact me at 936-394-2361.

I have been an educator for 25 years and have been an administrator in large and small districts and I am proud to say that Iola ISD is a special place.  Our students leave here not only with a wonderful education, but with many friendships and experiences that they will cherish for a lifetime.  If you have school aged children we would love to visit with you about Iola ISD and if you do not have children we’d like to welcome to you come out and enjoy an Iola ISD event, it is always nice to see our King Oaks neighbors supporting the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs.  Everyone is welcome at Iola ISD!!

Sincerely,

Chad Jones
Superintendent
